Not only is Merri-bek home to great restaurants, cafes, bars and live music venues, it’s a one-stop-spot for entertainment too.
We have compiled some of the municipality’s most creative, colourful, active, fun and adventurous leisure activities into our brand new Love Merri-bek Trail Map and continue to collaborate with local creative businesses, including graphic designer Barney Sullivan from Seeing Things, copywriter Emma McMillan and local artist/illustrator, Laura Holley AKA Lawz Drawz, to create the latest instalment in our maps series.
This third map in the series includes leisure activities from across the municipality, including mini golf in Brunswick, a drive-in cinema in Coburg, barefoot bowls in Glenroy and a outdoor pool with a huge slide in Oak Park. Not only does the map have information about all the different activities you can partake in across the municipality, but it has tram, train and bike routes to help get you there.
You can download the new map here, or by visiting one of the venues featured and picking up a hard copy. Use your map to get out and explore Merri-bek and support our local businesses.
